We are replacing one of our broadband aggregation router with upgraded hardware during below maintenance window

Wednesday 13-07-2016 03:00 AM to 06:00 AM

This may result in between 1 and 3 disconnections of the broadband services.  These disconnections will cause users' routers to re-establish their PPP sessions immediately to other equipment. We do not anticipate any such disconnection lasting more than 5 minutes.

Ethernet Services Maintenance on 06-07-2016

The maintenance was completed successfully and we can see that all ethernet services are running normal.

We will be performing maintenance on our Ethernet Services Aggregation Network on 06-07-2016 from 03:00 AM BST to 05:00 AM BST.

During this maintenance, some of the Ethernet Circuits will face an outage for no more than 15 minutes.

We have upgraded firmware on one of our aggregation router and we will be bringing it in service at the following time:

Tuesday 05-07-2016 03:00 AM to 05:00 AM

Outage on Broadband Infrastructure 28-06-2016

We have observed issues with one of our supplier's RADIUS where the users aren't authenticated and having issues with passing the traffic.

We are observing that the connections are gradually coming up . We have reported this issue with our supplier and currently waiting for an update from them.

Disruption to Broadband Services - 21-06-16

We will be performing maintenance at tomorrow to reroute sessions equally between data centers and this will results in disconnections of PPP sessions. However we do not anticipate downtime of more than 5 mins for a session to reestablish on another aggregation router.

Further diagnosis revealed that our aggregation router was hit by a bug as confirmed by the hardware vendor.

We have upgraded the firmware on the aggregation router as suggested by the vendor. The aggregation router is now  back in service with limited sessions.

Update 21-06-2016 03:45 PM


We had issues with one of our broadband aggregation router and due to which sessions connected on it faced disconnects. The issue happened twice and as a precaution we have taken the router out of service. Sessions are routed through another Broadband aggregation router in the cluster and we are observing sessions and traffic to be stable.


Our Network team is working with equipment vendor to find out the root cause of this issue and will advise once this has been fixed.

We experienced some disruption to our broadband network and due to this many broadband connections experienced outage of around 5s. The connections are established on another aggregation router after reconnection.
